His debut book written after his retirement in 2022, A Sanguine Tale: Unfolding the Life of a Project Engineer, offers an intimate glimpse into this journey—a narrative born from the trials and triumphs faced in some of the country’s remotest regions. There, where roads and communication were scarce and shortage of trained manpower and machinery was a constant hurdle , Rajat’s work demanded more than technical expertise; it required a spirit of leadership and resilience. Later, during his tenure at the Doyang Hydro Electric Project, Rajat constructed a bridge over the reservoir, bringing crucial connectivity to nearby villages and easing lives.
